(5/4/16) The weather has been putting a damper on our sweeping schedule this week. We will be out this morning again on Ginger Trail trying to beat the afternoon rain. We should be in Hunters Crossing by the end of the week. Next up: We will be in in Red Oak Estates, please like and share with your friends and family who live there. With all the cul-da-sacs in that particular neighborhood it is essential that there are no cars parked on sweeping day. Please check back as I will update daily, Thanks for your help getting this information out!
Today (4/15/16) we will be road grading on Nicholas Farm Road in Greene. The Town Sweeper will be back out on Monday to begin the Station Street/Highwood neighborhoods. If you live in this section of Town please sweep sand off the sidewalks into the street for us to remove on Monday. We are also pleased to announce that New London Turnpike has been newly paved and looks fantastic. Paving begins today on Grand View and Gay Streets. On Monday 04/18/16 paving crews will begin milling Hopkins Hill Road. Please expect delays and plan accordingly.
For the week of April 11th thru April 15th we are on a regular collection schedule. We will begin our Spring Sweeping schedule today in the Walker Farms area of town. Please move your vehicles so that we may sweep curb to curb. Tomorrow weather permitting we will be in Highland Acres.
*To begin Monday 04/04/16 weather permitting, we will update daily what neighborhood we are in each day.
