    This position is responsible for the overall development and implementation of programs at the Parks & Recreation Department.


    This is a dynamic, team-focused, environment where creativity and collaboration are part of daily culture.  The successful candidate will have knowledge of athletic programs and event management for youth and adults, and perform all duties as deemed necessary to achieve the department’s goals and objectives.




    • A degree in Parks & Recreation field or equivalent experience working in education, recreation, environmental, social or leisure services.
    • At least 1 year experience in an administrative support position.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to multi-task.
    • Must work courteously and effectively with staff, volunteers, and residents.
    • Must possess a valid RI drivers license.


    Salary:  $40,000 (negotiable), excellent benefits including health and dental care.
